How The International School @ ParkCity appears across AI-powered search, and what is being left on the table.
ISP's robots.txt uses a catch-all "Disallow: /" rule that blocks GPTBot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot from reading any page on your site. This single technical issue makes it impossible for AI platforms to cite ISP in their recommendations, regardless of content quality.
With only 73 organic keywords, ISP has almost no discoverable content beyond basic school pages. There are no comparison guides, no "why ISP" articles, no parent resource hub. Competitors like ISKL publish rich content that AI models pull from when answering "best school" queries.
The site has no Organization, EducationalOrganization, or FAQ schema markup. AI models rely heavily on structured data to understand and categorise schools. Without it, ISP is invisible to the knowledge graphs that power AI recommendations.
ISP does not appear in ChatGPT responses for KL international school queries
Only appears in hyper-local "Desa ParkCity" queries, absent from broader "best in KL" results
Not recommended in any tested buyer queries about KL international schools
Competitors with stronger content hubs and review profiles dominate Gemini results

Add explicit Allow rules for GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and Google-Extended. This single change is the highest-impact fix: until it is done, no AI platform can read or recommend ISP. It takes minutes to implement and unlocks everything else.
Implement structured data across key pages: EducationalOrganization on the homepage, FAQ schema on admissions and fees pages, Breadcrumb markup site-wide. This gives AI models the structured signals they need to categorise and recommend ISP.
Publish comparison content ("ISP vs ISKL", "best British schools in KL"), parent guides ("choosing an international school in Desa ParkCity"), and programme spotlights. This is the content AI models cite when parents ask recommendation queries.
While auditing ISP's AI visibility, we also reviewed the website itself. The site runs on WordPress with several performance concerns that affect both search rankings and the parent experience.
isp.edu.my/robots.txt only allows Googlebot, Baiduspider, Slurp, Naverbot, and Yeti. Every other crawler, including GPTBot (ChatGPT), ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and Google-Extended (Gemini), hits a blanket "Disallow: /" rule. This is the single biggest reason ISP is invisible to AI search.
Pages load Slider Revolution, UberMenu, and approximately 50KB of inline CSS before any content appears. The Sixth Form page (isp.edu.my/sixth-form) and Admissions page both suffer from render-blocking scripts that hurt Core Web Vitals and mobile performance. Missing meta descriptions on key pages further weaken SEO signals.
The Contact page (isp.edu.my/contact) lists full address and phone details but has no LocalBusiness or Organization schema. No page on the site carries FAQ, Breadcrumb, or EducationalOrganization markup. This means search engines and AI models cannot easily parse ISP's identity, location, or programme details.
"Saigon Digital helped us increase awareness of BVIS and support admissions for the opening of our new campus. Through a focused SEO and AI visibility strategy, they helped more parents and families discover BVIS when searching online for international school options. Their work strengthened our digital presence and helped us reach prospective families at an important time for the school."Darragh Shanahan · Primary Deputy Headteacher, British Vietnamese International School (BVIS)
ISP has the reputation, the accreditations, and the student body to be the top-recommended school in KL. The gap is digital: a website that blocks AI crawlers, thin content that does not match your real-world strength, and zero structured data. We fix all of it, then keep it growing.
